PRIVACY POLICY

Thank you for your interest in our website. The protection of your personal data during the collection, processing and use on the occasion of your visit to our website is an important concern for us.

1. Personal Data

Personal data is information that can be used to find out your identity. This includes your name, address, postal address and telephone number. Information that is not associated with your identity (such as the number of users of a website) is not included. In principle, you can use our online offer without disclosing your identity.

When you visit our website or use our services, the device with which you access the page automatically transmits log data (connection data) to our servers. Log data includes the IP address of the device you use to access the website or a service, the type of browser you use to access it, the page you visited previously, your system configuration, and date and time information. IP addresses are stored only to the extent necessary to provide our services. Otherwise, the IP addresses are deleted or anonymized. We store your IP address when you visit our website for a maximum of 7 days in order to detect and defend against attacks.

When you request information, order e-books or make other requests, we ask for your name and other personal information. It is your free decision whether you enter this data. We store your information on specially protected servers in Switzerland. The EU Commission has certified that the level of data protection in Switzerland is comparable to EU law. Data transfer from the EU to Switzerland is permitted under data protection law. Access to it is only possible for a few authorized persons. These are responsible for the technical, commercial or editorial support of the content and servers.

Insofar as the usage or traffic data is required for our services, it will be stored for a maximum of six months after collection of the data. If the data is required to fulfill existing legal, statutory or contractual retention periods (e.g. invoices), this data is also stored beyond this period. However, this data is blocked and only accessible to a few authorized persons via passwords.

Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 DSGVO)

If the data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. e or f DSGVO, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this privacy policy. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the purpose of asserting, exercising or defending legal claims (objection under Article 21(1) DSGVO).

If your personal data is processed for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such marketing; this also applies to profiling, insofar as it is related to such direct marketing. If you object, your personal data will subsequently no longer be used for the purpose of direct marketing (objection pursuant to Art. 21 (2) DSGVO).

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. To do this, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint.

The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:

  • If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the review, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
  • If the processing of your personal data has happened / is happening unlawfully, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
  • If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of erasure.
  • If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21 (1) DSGVO, a balancing of your and our interests must be carried out. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data may - apart from being stored - only be processed with your consent or for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of an important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.

2. Disclosure of personal data to third parties

We use your personal information only for the purpose for which it is used by us. We will not pass on the data to third parties without your express consent. If we are required by law or court order to do so, we will disclose your data to bodies entitled to receive such information.

3. Use of cookies

Internet cookies are small data packages that are stored by your browser on the hard drive of your computer. We use cookies on our website. Such cookies are necessary to allow you to move freely around the website and use its features, including accessing secure areas of the website. Cookies are also necessary for the function of the shopping cart for store orders for technical reasons.

4. Protection of minors

Children and persons under the age of 18 should not submit any personal data to us without the consent of their parents or legal guardians.

5. Links to other websites

Our online offer contains links to other websites. We have no influence on whether their operators comply with data protection regulations.

6. CRM (Worldsoft Business Suite) and newsletter

This website uses the Worldsoft Business Suite (WBS). Provider is Worldsoft AG, Churerstrasse 158, 8808 Pfäffikon, Switzerland.

The Worldsoft Business Suite (WBS) is a CRM (Customer Relationship Management), with which data can be organized and analyzed.

When you submit your personal data via a web form or when placing an order, this data is stored on the servers of Worldsoft AG in Switzerland. After appropriate examination, the EU Commission has certified that Switzerland has a level of data protection comparable to that of the EU. A data transfer from the EU to Switzerland is permitted under data protection law.

We refer you to our data protection regulations before the transfer of your data. With the transmission of the data you agree that we may collect, process and use your personal data, within the framework of the legal regulations.

The purpose of the use results from the context when transmitting your data. Your data will be used for the purpose for which it was originally collected. Example: If you order a product on our website, your data will be used to create and send the invoice and for any queries.

Legal basis
The data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

Data analysis by WBS
WBS enables us to subdivide interested parties and customers on the basis of various categories (so-called tagging). In doing so, the address entries can be subdivided, for example, according to gender, personal preferences (e.g. vegetarian or non-vegetarian) or customer relationship (e.g. customer or potential customer).

Storage duration
The data you have deposited with us will be stored until you revoke your consent. After revocation of your consent, your data will be deleted from our servers as well as from the servers of Worldsoft AG. For more details, please refer to the privacy policy of Worldsoft AG at:
www.worldsoft.info/86.

Newsletter data

The Worldsoft Business Suite (WBS) can be used, among other things, to organize and analyze the dispatch of newsletters. The data you enter for the purpose of receiving newsletters is stored on the servers of Worldsoft AG.

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require from you an e-mail address, or telephone number for SMS, as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address or telephone number provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. Further data is not collected or only on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

The data entered by you for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored on the servers of Worldsoft AG.

The processing of the data entered in the newsletter registration form is based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you provide for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data that has been stored by us for other purposes (e.g. e-mail addresses for the member area) remains unaffected by this.

Data analysis by WBS
When we send newsletters using WBS, we can determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links, if any, have been clicked.

WBS also allows us to subdivide newsletter recipients based on various categories (so-called tagging). In doing so, newsletter recipients can be subdivided according to gender, personal preferences (e.g. vegetarian or non-vegetarian) or customer relationship (e.g. customer or potential customer), for example. In this way, the newsletters can be better adapted to the respective target groups. For more information, please visit:  www.worldsoft-wbs.info

If you do not want any analysis by WBS, you must therefore unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide a corresponding link in each newsletter message.

Data that has been stored by us for other purposes (e.g. e-mail addresses for the member area, address details for invoicing) remains unaffected by this.

7. Plugins and tools

Google Web Fonts

This site uses so-called web fonts from Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.

For this purpose, however, the browser you use does not connect to Google's servers, but accesses Worldsoft's servers in Switzerland. Google does not learn that your IP address was used to access our website. However, Worldsoft obtains knowledge of your IP address in the course of using the website. The handling of your IP address is described in point 1, paragraph 2 of this privacy policy.

Google Web Fonts are used in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer.

Google Maps

This site uses the map service Google Maps via an API. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transmission.

The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers and an easy location of the places indicated by us on the website. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

More information on the handling of user data can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

Faire Karriere

We use the Faire-Karriere.de widget from pludoni GmbH (https://www.pludoni.de/impressum) to display ratings for our company on certain areas of our website. When visiting our website, a one-time secure connection is established via HTTPS to https://www.faire-karriere.de/. This connection is required to view our profile and associated content. Log files are created which contain access data (name of the website accessed, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited site), IP address and the requesting provider). Log files are processed for the purpose of troubleshooting and for security reasons (e.g. to clarify misuse or fraud) and are stored for a maximum period of 3 months and then deleted. Data whose further storage is required for evidential purposes is excluded from deletion until final clarification of the respective incident. The legal basis according to the DSGVO is Art. 6, para. 1b, or Art. 28 (order processing). As contractor, pludoni GmbH processes all data on our behalf. For detailed information on the processing of your data associated with the Faire-Karriere.de-Widget, please refer to the separate data protection declaration (https://www.faire-karriere.de/datenschutz) of pludoni GmbH.
